PERSONAL BRANDING AND CLOTHES
The big question on my mind as we started the show was while we’ve all heard that clothes “make the man” is it possible that clothes can also make the brand?
Toi tells us Absolutely. Our clothes are the packaging for our brand. They’re the bow around the car in the commercial.
Toi has a great quote that sums up how clothes really do make not only the man (woman) but also the brand.
“When you look good, you feel good, if you feel good then you are confident, if you are confident then world is yours”
Ever wonder if colors matter? Yes, more than you would image. The color of your clothes sends a message. Orange, for example, helps people get excited about you and your service while Blue conveys trustworthiness.

We discuss common fashion mistakes such as not going the extra mile when telling your story. You see Toi believes that your clothes help you tell your story on the outside and that it’s the details that count.
Ever wondered about companies like Trunk Club or Bombfell? Toi and I discuss these types of companies. Toi’s take, if you don’t like to shop and you’re not worried about the story you’re telling then these companies may be an option for you. But if you’re actively working on your brand and using your clothes to tell your story then you some more personalized service.
Quick style tip: Pay attention to your shoes.
